If You’re Happy and You Know Shout Hooray

I am also stamping my feet and clapping my hands that it is the weekend.

My son, for the first time, is also excited about Friday. I think it has been a long, short week for all of us.

We were off for more than a week for the Christmas holiday so it was hard getting back at it.

This weekend there will likely be some baking. My son requested to make both cupcakes and cookies and wants to use the new dinosaur sprinkles my aunt gave us.

I hope it also involves some backyard skating, some outside walking and some indoor playing.

Happy Weekend.

Sing A Song Or Two

I like singing to my son but unfortunately he usually only hears a line or two and a lot out-of-tune humming as I can’t remember the lyrics.
I found a great website for people like me. Check it out: http://bussongs.com

Zoom, zoom, zoom

When my little friend BG came to meet our son for the first time, she sang him a song.

Since then, I have been singing the “BG song” to our little guy a couple of times of day, particularly when he is fussy.

As soon as the words “Zoom, zoom” start, he breaks into a smile.

I have taught it to two other little people and I am sure you’ll be able to guess which part they like best.

Zoom, zoom, zoom,
We are going to the moon.
If you like to take a trip,
Climb aboard our rocket ship.
Zoom, zoom, zoom.
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One,
Blast Off.

Thanks BG.
