My little guy is now in a big boy bed. The first night we set it up, he went to sleep with little fuss.
Yesterday, he started out in his big boy bed for his nap but then we heard all this noise. When he called us to get him up from his afternoon nap, he and all his toys were back in his crib. (He didn’t want this crib taken down, so his bed is currently set up beside his crib.)
Last night he again went to bed with little fuss.
While it makes me smile that he seems happy in his big boy bed, it makes me a little sad of another obvious sign my baby is now a little boy.

Oh, the big boy bed! That's a huge step. It's okay to be a little sad, I think. My youngest is going into grade one and I'm excited but also melancholy.
I think it's definitely okay! Those milestones are always a little hard on a mama's heart! :)
Of course you can be sad! I was sad to have to give up the rocking chair. And then take them to school. And sell the baby stuff. Everything.
Is that a Dora mattress? I can't tell from the pic exactly, but I didn't even know those existed! What happens when he's 12? LOL! He'll be mortified if his friends find out!
AWW-- yeah bittersweet!
Aw. They grow so fast.
I remember Matthew's first night in his big boy bed. I took pictures and they still make me sad. I can't believe yours is in a big boy bed already!
Cheers :-)

Oh, I can so relate to this post! We're transitioning our girls from their toddler beds to twin-sized beds, and I'm a little verklempt *sniff*
The big boy bed! Big step. Luckily there are a few more big steps before he's all grown up.
