Canadians are going to the polls – again – to vote for the prime minister of this country.
While I appreciate we live in democracy and we have the right to vote for who we feel is the best person to lead, there has been too many federal elections these last few years for me to feel remotely happy about the fall of Parliament.
Sigh personally. (Oh, who to vote for.)
Double sigh professionally. (About the amount of work a federal election will mean to journalists across the country and the thought of listening to the promises made by politicians for the next two months.)
Sigh.

I'm really pissed we're having an election. Is this necessary, people? Why can't politicians act like professionals and try to work things out instead of being idiots? Oh, right. Because they're politicians.
I'm sorry for all the extra work this is going to cause you. I know how crazy things become during elections.
Cheers :-)

Oh Lawd, I'm tired of the elections. So. Many. Elections. Blah.
It's unfortunate to hear that elections are 'extra-work' for journalists, when it should be a fun, exciting time. Just not this year due to being so soon, as you mention. Maybe next time...
I know, I'm already sick of hearing about it.
The amount of money being spent on this election is beyond me I heard it was $300 million! I could name a thousand places that $300 million could benefit from that money.
I am also fed up with the Conservatives calling my house asking if I am voting Conservative.
We are in a recession, when is our Government going to wake up and smell the roses.......... and, why can't these people who run our "country" act like responsible adults and think of the people and not themselves.
We need a woman running this country. Anyone want the job????
Blah, elections can make my head hurt.
We go through it every 4 years but really, nobody good runs against the incumbent President, so the only elections that really matter are the ones every 8 years.
Read from net about this spring election (triggered by the non confidence vote on budget)... I was amazed by the budget spent by government during election. Could have helped a lot of people.
I am with you, though I'm not a Canadian.
