Turn Your Headlights On

It’s 8 a.m. It’s dark. It’s raining. Hard.

During the drive down the highway this morning, the rain was coming down so hard even with my windshield wipers on high, it was barely keeping my windshield clean.

Despite that, there was a person driving a SUV without his full headlight system on.

Daytime running lights are a great thing, however, please turn your full headlights on in the rain.

Last day

Despite this being my last day before two weeks of vacation, I am excited to be here.

I have a list of things to do including finishing off my article on living donors, learning a new job and striking off my pre-vacation to-do list.

Happy days.

Gosh, I wish it would rain here. Buckets. We sure need it! BTW, snuggled up near you at SITS today...

Bottoms Up!

Ugh. I hate that. My husband always yells "Turn your lights on!!" as though the person could hear him. LOL.

Hi Lisa, found you on SITS and have become a follower. Could you send some rain down to my hot and dry corner of southern Italy, please? ;-)

It's a law in my state that your lights have to be on if your windshield wipers are! It DOES make sense, no?

I've done that - drive with my running lights on that is. By accident of course. I often think cars should only have an on or off - no running light option.

I wish people forgetting to turn their lights on was our only problem. People seem to FREAK OUT whenever it rains here in Albuquerque, whether it's pouring or just a drizzle. I always leave for work early whenever it sprinkles in the morning because I know all the other drivers are going to be cautiously creeping along!
