Beautiful

This morning, in between buildings, highway overpasses, hills and tractor-trailers, I had a glimpse of a giant red-orange ball of fire to the east.

It was so breathtaking, I almost missed my exit and I had to cross four lanes of traffic in order to get off the highway in time.

A beautiful sunrise, coupled with mild weather, makes today a great day.
Happy Monday, everyone.

Sadly I was out too early to see the sun actually peaking up over the horizon. I do agree however that the warmer tempreatures and the sunshine make for a very Happy Monday!

Yes I also love fake spring. Highs of 57 today! But don't you worry. It's supposed to snow on thursday. Bah!

They tell me sunrises are wonderful, but I haven't seen that many myself.

You have mild weather??!! Lucky you! We have -25 windchill! However, the sun was lovely, and more than made up for the biting cold.

Duh. I just noticed the date on your post...yesterday, not today! Silly me!

Seeing the sun rise happens very rarely for me, but whenever it does I am always amazed by how breathtaking it is. Glad you had such a nice start to your day!
