Welcome to the Now

I like my cellphone. It works. I know how to use it. I can, if I actually wanted to, send text. It makes phone calls to let my family know I am home or call people to let them know we will be late. Yesterday, my husband bought me this:
I also like this phone. It's too early to say whether I love it, but I think it will also serve its purpose - it allows me to text, which I did more last night than I have ever done in my life, make phone calls to let my family know I am home or call people to let them know we will be late. However, it also looks like it will be lot of fun. The Days are in the now. Look at us go.

Welcome to the now! Ha ha ha! Ok, how much did you want to kill him for spending that much money? Was it an early birthday present? Set up your iMessage, and we can chat if you want. Just use my email address.

I actually was a little miffed at my husband when he surprised me with an iPhone--I liked my old cell just fine. Fast forward to "the now" and I must admit that I LOVE my smartphone. I especially can't live without my phone calendar and its alerts--so very handy for keeping my family's activities organized (since I'm the chauffeur for 4 kids!) If I forget something (which I usually do), I've got alerts set up to ring and remind me where I'm supposed to be in 15 minutes.

The more you learn how to use all the shortcuts and tips, the more you're going to love your new phone!
