Eve...Welcome to the "those drivers" club!
Ever notice my white knuckles after a drive in to the office in a snowstorm?
It's terrible.
Mind you, I've been getting in accidents since I was about 18 years old. But it's always tough to get back in the drivers seat.Angeline Schnarehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16431283987131981570noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5895407124479555371.post-34573261411999899762010-02-26T08:21:06.552-08:002010-02-26T08:21:06.552-08:00I'm the same way about driving in the dark. Luckily, it doesn't snow a lot here.Maureenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00667261745186561241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5895407124479555371.post-44610615653886642252010-02-26T07:08:28.562-08:002010-02-26T07:08:28.562-08:00Got your message! I feel it eliminates all the assholes who got there test done in the summer. It should be mandatory to test drivers in winter conditions, then, they would appreciate driving and be more conscious of the road conditions and others.

I have seen more stupid drivers in the winter than anytime of year and I have been driving for a VERY VERY LONG TIME. Everyone thinks they can stop on a dime.

I was taught at a VERY young age to not only look ahead but to also look across, behind and even on the road across from you driving the otherway, sometimes, I feel like an owl looking for prey. I have also added one more thing to my driving and that is looking above while I go under bridges etc. in case some idiot decides to through something over.

Give it time Lisa you'll be just fine.Bettynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5895407124479555371.post-21819892730983116802010-02-25T09:31:38.495-08:002010-02-25T09:31:38.495-08:00I am totally with you. Hit head on (40 mph) by a teen turning left in front of me illegally. Weather was not an issue in my case. I've never been worried about how I drive in the snow, I worry about other people. Especially those that seem to think they're invincible and drive like maniacs. I'll follow your (slower) driving anytime - and we'd be a stereo effect as I'd be saying the same things you would... :)Stacy Uncorkedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10084619026794128825noreply@blogger.com
